Ronda Kennedy, the Republican candidate for Congress in California’s 26th District, called for immediate economic reimbursements from the Peoples Republic of China for the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) the national pandemic and the economic hardships that have resulted in the United States. She called for the American citizens to be allowed to sue Chinese leaders for the pandemic that has killed thousands and forced America’s economy to a stand still, saying that the Chinese leadership’s culpability in this was akin to that of Saudi Arabia and Iran allowing 9/11terrorists to train in their nations. Kennedy said China must be held accountable for the damage it has caused. Kenned highlights that top Chinese political and military leaders failed to truthfully report on the pandemic, cooperate with the United States and other nations in preventing the spread of the coronavirus, and also falsely accusing the United States military of being behind the pandemic. She is calling for the bank accounts of key Chinese political and military leaders to be frozen. Studies have shown that China’s failure to report honestly on the pandemic has caused at least $4 trillion in economic damages and thousands of deaths. Additionally, Kennedy said the United States should inform Taiwan it will support its movement toward independence and provide recognition once the island nation is formed as the Republic of Taiwan.
“The deaths and economic devastation from the coronavirus can be put squarely at the feet of the Chinese Communist Party leadership and the Chinese military,” said Ronda Kennedy. “Nearly 20,000 Americans are dead from this pandemic with 758 Californians dead today because of China and that number continues to rise. China must be held accountable and punished. The leadership could easily have prevented what is happening today and they chose not to. The Chinese leadership has blood on its hands. The questions must be asked, what did the Chinese leadership know and when did they know it?
“I am calling for China and its leadership to pay the United States for the economic damages they have caused this nation,” continued Kennedy. “The bank accounts of the Chinese political and military leadership must be frozen. American citizens must be allowed to sue Chinese leaders for the economic hardship and deaths that have occurred. China must learn that there are severe consequences for what it has done and only by taking punitive actions against the Chinese leadership can we ensure that this will never happen again. Let there be no doubt, this was a deliberate and hostile action by China against the United States and we cannot let it go unchallenged.”
